Where we teach in Toronto

Toronto is a different city block by block — one-way streets and streetcar tracks downtown, wide arterials in the east end, tight residential parking everywhere. Our instructors teach on the streets you'll actually drive, not just an empty lot.

In-car lessons come with free pickup and drop-off anywhere in the city — your home, school, condo or workplace. Classroom and online BDE options run 7 days a week.

Road test ready

Toronto DriveTest centres we prepare you for

Four DriveTest centres serve Toronto drivers, and each one tests you on very different roads. Tell us where you're booked and we'll shape your final in-car hours around that area.

Toronto Downsview

North-west
Downsview Park, 37 Carl Hall Rd (use back entrance), North York

Expect the residential streets around Downsview Park plus busier stretches near Keele St and Sheppard Ave W — lane changes, parking and controlled intersections.

Toronto Metro East

East
Victoria Terrace Plaza, 1448 Lawrence Ave E, Unit 15

A mix of quiet residential pockets and fast arterials like Lawrence Ave E and Victoria Park Ave — merging, left turns across traffic and pedestrian-heavy plazas.

Toronto Port Union

East end
Village of Abbey Lane Shopping Centre, 91 Rylander Blvd, Scarborough

Quieter east-Scarborough residential streets near Kingston Rd — a popular pick for nervous drivers, with school zones and roundabout-style plaza exits.

Toronto Etobicoke

West
Centennial Park Plaza, 5555 Eglinton Ave W, Unit E120-124

Wide, fast roads around Centennial Park and Eglinton Ave W — higher speeds, multi-lane turns and busy plaza entrances near the 427 corridor.

Not booked yet? We'll help you pick the centre that fits your driving style — and with BDE certification you can take your G2 road test after just 8 months with your G1. Start your registration →

Which DriveTest centre should I book in Toronto?
Toronto drivers can book at Downsview, Metro East, Port Union or Etobicoke. Port Union's quieter east-end streets suit nervous drivers, while Downsview and Metro East are the most common picks for central Toronto. Tell us where you're booked and we'll focus your lessons on that area.
Do you offer driving lessons in downtown Toronto?
Yes. Downtown is our home turf — our office is at 180 John Street. Lessons cover the things downtown driving actually demands: one-way streets, streetcar rules, bike lanes, and tight parking.
Do you pick up from my home in Toronto?
Yes. Every in-car lesson includes free pickup and drop-off anywhere in Toronto — home, school, condo or work.
How much do driving lessons cost in Toronto?
Our pricing is transparent and itemized — a clean package price plus taxes and certification fee, with nothing added later. See current G1, G2 and full G packages on our Courses & Pricing page.
Will I learn to drive around streetcars and bike lanes?
Yes — and in Toronto, you need to. We teach streetcar stop rules, safe passing around cyclists and bike lanes, and how to handle King and Queen Street-style traffic with confidence.
How soon can I take my G2 road test in Toronto?
With our MTO-approved BDE course, you can book your G2 road test after 8 months with your G1 instead of the standard 12 — and your certification is recorded directly with DriveTest.
Do you offer female driving instructors in Toronto?
Yes. Female instructors are available on request — just mention your preference when you register or call 416 996 9395.
Can I take driving lessons in winter?
Yes — lessons run year-round, and winter lessons are some of the most valuable you can take. Learning snow, slush and low-visibility driving with a certified instructor beside you beats figuring it out alone later.
